1. European vs American Roulette
Before using any system, you must choose the right wheel. The difference is the "Double Zero" (00).
| Wheel Type | Zeros | House Edge | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|
| European | 0 (Single) | 2.70% | Play This |
| American | 0, 00 (Double) | 5.26% | Avoid |
2. The Martingale System (High Risk)
Logic: Double your bet after every loss. Win back losses + 1 unit.
The Danger: Exponential growth. If you start with $5 and lose 7 times in a row, your next bet is $640. Most tables have a $500 or $1000 limit, preventing you from making the recovery bet.
3. The Fibonacci System (Medium Risk)
Logic: Use the sequence 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21. Move up on loss, move down 2 steps on win.
Benefit: Slower stake progression than Martingale. You can survive longer losing streaks.
4. The D'Alembert System (Low Risk)
Logic: Add 1 unit on loss, remove 1 unit on win.
This is the safest "grinding" strategy but offers very small profits. It assumes wins and losses will eventually equal out.
